About!

Hi! I am Zoie, the owner of Blooming Whisk Matcha! Starting and opening this matcha cart was definitely a passion project for me. I went into it having known for a long time that opening and running my own business was what I wanted to do in life. I knew I wanted the business I opened to incorporate something that I love and am passionate about. 

I was introduced to matcha about 4 years ago by a coworker, and as a longtime tea lover, I fell in love with it. Over the past 4 years, I have begun to learn more about matcha, how and where it's grown, the harvest process, quality, flavor profiles, and so much more. Over these years, as my preferences for certain types and qualities of matcha began to change, I started to struggle to find places near me that served matchas I wanted and liked to drink. So when thinking about what businesses I wanted, I knew I wanted to open a matcha cart that served high-quality, vibrant green, and flavorful matchas in the Tacoma/Puyallup, WA area.
